We start picking up guests at 06:30 and at 07:00 we leave the city. The next thing we do is a walking tour downtown. Here guide tells about the history of Georgia and Kutaisi. After taking pictures at the fountain group continues down to the central park where are located statues of sister “Ishkhnelebi” and the memorial of “9 April”. Afterward, we pass by Kutaisi city hall, Opera house, and visit the “Mon Plasir” arch. Then we pass by the first gymnasium and visit the white bridge, then go through the Park of Love and visit the Golden marquee palace. Then we go to the central grocery market called “Mtsvane Bazari”. For lunchtime, we visit the family winery “Baia’s Wine” located in Bagdati municipality, village Obcha. Firstly, Baia and Gvantsa (Baia’s sister) show us the vineyard that is just behind their house. Then we move to the wine cellar to taste several types of wines they have. They produce “Tsolikouri”, “Krakhuna”, “Aladasturi”, “Ojaleshi”, “Otskhanuri Sapere” and of course “Chacha”. Afterward, we sit around a big table full of Georgian food. Their mom makes the most delicious Imerian food you’ll ever try. After satisfying lunch we return back to Kutaisi and then to Batumi by 21:00.
